  • Leslie 122 questions

I could not find anything in the archives that went into this, perhaps someone can help. I have a 122 on my H-385. Recently, it started making a loud popping noise when switching from low to high speed, and vice versa. The noise varies in intensity, sometimes quite loud. The pop is not more frequent switching high to low, or the other way. This ...

  • V-20 vs. V-21 is there a difference?

I bought a 21h leslie and converted it to a 147 (all but the stock V-20 driver).  Everything sounds great except that it just wont get that high frequency ''scream''.  Could this be because of the old driver (which is in excellent shape)?  Will the V-21 make a difference at all?  Any tips about volume and preamp settings with a ...

After the fuse was shifted, the motors on upper horn and woofer /lower drum behaves odd. On leslie slow, the lower rotor is spinning slow, but the upper horn is standing still. On leslie ...

  • Re: converting a 251 amplifier (6C) to behave as a 122 amp (6H)

I have the exact situation...so far the feedback I got was replace the amp, or get schematics for both and have a tech sort it out. Unfortunately, my electronics skills are limited.I was rather hoping that someone out there had made this modification, and had a feel for what was involved...or better yet a parts list, so I could save the cost of ...

  • Re: Which leslie will work with a CV

Ahhhh, Thanks bluedog. The fog is beginning to lift a bit.... so the ''kit'' is the interface between the organ and the leslie, correct? I really want to avoid having to wire anything as I have no experience with this, and understand there is a health risk involved with electricity, especially DC which I also understand is used somewhere in ...

  • Re: HAMMOND ORGANS... B3 C3 A100 M3 AND LESLIE SPEAKERS

I am considering buying a hammond B-3 / leslie 145 combo and I know very little about what to look for. The seller has indicated that the twg is sticking at start-up and that it hasn't been played or serviced regularly although he is confident that with a little oil, it will work fine (he said has done this before). I have made ...

  • HAMMOND ORGANS... B3 C3 A100 M3 AND LESLIE SPEAKERS

here are some basic buying and owning suggestions: 1) Do not buy any organ without having the chance to inspect it first ! 2) When buying a Leslie, know WHAT you are buying... and that you must also buy a Leslie hook up kit for the organ that matches the Leslie, and a cable... 3) Leslie speakers are not all the same even though they ...
