Did a complete overhaul of one of these little gems and an exhaustive photo documentary of sorts for those who wish to not only add life to their late model Hammond but, in some cases, fix the organ itself. Remeber that this is the motor that spins the TWG's main driveshaft ;)
The main areas to focus on when cleaning one of these ...

Fenrirlupus... I am so glad you replied to this very subject... you are the first! :)))) And I must say that you hit the main underlying concerns that I and my Father researched for months.
The viscosity of Singer sewing machine oil is ALMOST identical to that of the so-called vintage ''Hammond'' oil sold at premium prices by many online ...

Hello,
I'm relatively new here, and I'm in a bit of Hammond trouble.... I was recently given(!) a nice L-100 (might be a L111,) and the only things that are missing are the tubes and the speakers themselves. I know where I can order the tubes online, but is there anyone on here that knows where I can order the speakers, or what the specs are ...

The Vox is a valve overdrive that allows both low and high end to pass through, and this formula seems to work prefectly inserted into the L-100.
Now, as ...

Hi
My name is Frank. I just found this great forum, and I think I am going to hang out here a lot in the future. I was aware of the Hammond and Theatre Organ pages, and also used to be on the Hammond mailing list. Is this forum it's successor?
I am the happy owner of an L-122 and a T-500. Both are great organs I think. While I notice that that ...

Thanks for the reply!! Nice to hear from someone so close to home. Just out of curiosity, are tonewheel's more plentiful up your way or do you head up to TO to get yours? Besides a T-200 this was the ONLY one I've seen come up for sale in the last few months, that's why I grabbed it despite the price and condition. ...

Good Morning All
Has anyone had any luck or experience with using guitar-based effects pedals in their spinet organs? I purchased a Boss RT-20 rotary simulator the other day and am fairly impressed with how it sounds (Thanks to Organgrinder010 for his posts on where in the signal to place the pedal (After the percussion amp)). ...
