OH MY GOSH!!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTIN THE RT3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got one and fell in love with it!!!!!!!!! I am not a Hammond organ person as I play the pipe organ at my church. I wanted a home organ, so my mom got me a 1975 kimball 13 pedal organ a few years back. Hated every thing about it: sound sucks!: ugly: cheap: ...

I am considering buying a hammond B-3 / leslie 145 combo and I know very little about what to look for. The seller has indicated that the twg is sticking at start-up and that it hasn't been played or serviced regularly although he is confident that with a little oil, it will work fine (he said has done this before). Thanks,
What I have are the PR40 tone cabinets. They do have the 'necklace' type reverb. My son-in-law said he can see the hammers activating against the springs, just no reverb effect. (??)

How do you get that low gravel sound out of a B3, RT3? You know the sound I mean, Like ...

Can't seem to get the reverb in the tone cabinet to work, either cabinet. Not sure what's up. My son-in-law ran a microphone from the tone cabinet to a PA and added reverb, ...

Hi everyone. I just joined the forum due to the purchase of a 1972 RT3 today. Found it in the garage sale ads, and bought it from a church. Original owners. I haven't brought it home yet. They had built in the speakers (2) into their stage, and they are removing them this week. I don't know if they are Leslies or not. The organ looks great.
I ...

I have a 1958 B3 that was stored for 10 years, and I recently decided to get it working again. At first, the start motor wouldn't crank, so I put about 2 oz of Hammond Oil into the two cups, let it sit, and then turned the TWG shaft by hand. Now, the start motor cranks, but the run motor will not keep the TWG running and of course ...

here are some basic buying and owning suggestions:
1) Do not buy any organ without having the chance to inspect it first !
2) When buying a Leslie, know WHAT you are buying... and that you must also buy a Leslie hook up kit for the organ that matches the Leslie, and a cable...
3) Leslie speakers are not all the same even though they ...
