Hi.... I'm experiencing a Ground Hum with a Hammond A-100 w/ Leslie 251 that has a three way switch (chorale, brake and tremelo) when the switch is set to chorale (slow speed). I've tried different room positions and outlets with the leslie and the organ. Next week I have a new cable coming that I can try. Any other possible tips or ...

I've read posts here a number of times and own a 1951 M as well as an XK3 which I used on band jobs. Recently I was lucky enough to purchase an A-100 which is probably a 1963 model to judge from the serial number and the date of original purchase written in the manual. I've skulked around here for awhile, figuring the answers to my questions are ...

Greetings everyone,
I'm having a confusing issue with my Leslie 122--most of the time it works just fine, but occasionally it will get stuck on a certain speed. Usually it gets stuck on either the fast speed (more common) or the slow speed, but sometimes it will spin only at some intermediate speed between the slow and fast ...

I am a pro musician with a project studio, but not a pro keyboard player, and certainly not a tech.I happened on a local online ad for a Hammond A101 for $100. I contacted the seller to tell him that the organ was worth much more but I had no idea how much; but possibly in excess of a grand, and that I would be happy to find out. I told the guy ...

Finally, at age 53, I own a Hammond tonewheel organ (A100). Years of attempting to get ''that Hammond sound'' were just a waste of money. I found this beautiful organ right in my hometown, brought it home, plugged it in and heard wonderful tones even without a Leslie. However, a few days later when I turned on the vibrato ...

I've sure enjoyed the bio so far. That cat was a frikkin genius! Seems to have enjoyed his drinkin a bit, but it seems not to have affected him in any serious way...other than the interesting anecdotes. Too many real sharp dudes have ended up burned out on alcohol or drugs. (Shudder.)
Thanks a million for the link ...

Is it possible for me to have a leslie 9 pin kit and a leslie 6 pin 122 style kit both installed on my Hammond A 100? I do not want to use the leslies at the same time. I intend to use one for recording and one for live gigs. I currently have a working 9 pin kit installed on the organ that powers a ...

Okay. A few days ago I turned on my organ and began to play and when I played I heard some static type noise out of my speakers only when keys were pressed. I turned it off. I then turned it back on but waited awhile before i started to play. The distortion in the keys seemed to have went away a little bit but now I noticed the when I pressed a ...

Yesterda, I was putting my new A-100 through its paces, and on two occasions already the sound of the upper drawbars was suddenly cutoff almost completely (maybe totally, I can't remember). A restart of the organ was necessary to bring it back. The second time it happened after a glissando, not sure about the first time. Can somebody shed some ...
