at least it still has the lights and a friendly tungsten glow.143 viewsI've kept the lights on, and left a gap to shunt light out over the switches and keys. Might have to put in a translucent light shade to make it less rude, though.

Leslie unclad.128 viewsThis is part way through the rotor housing project. You can see the original black box on hinges is intact in case it needs to be returned to the organ from whence it came.
The vents on the sides were to allow the direct sound from the rotor emerge, instead of becoming muffled inside the bowels of the T-500.
In this respect it has similarities to the leslie 825 which had a single rotor though it rotated on aperpendicular axis to this one. It also had a 70watt amplifier (the T-500 is 30 watts only) and a 12 inch full range cone instead of an 8inch which only plays the trebles.
Further plans are to replace the cone with a larger one and to add some sort of bass reflex cavity.

Hammond E100 description137 viewsThis is a page from a 1970 document, prices were probably 1965 prices. It appears the E100 was only produced for one month!

cans replaced on T500 power supply92 viewsI'm planning on chopping the T, so I'm going to downsize the amp chassis. With that in mind I didn't bother keeping the old cans in place.
