a long shot - Combo Organ Swap!

    hey everybody.

well, albeit this is a fairly hammond/theatre organ-oriented board, didnt the harm in casting out a line.

i have an Ace Tone Top-5 Combo Organ, in good, perfectly functioning and sweet-sounding condition. more rugged than your standard combo, methinks.

but, i rather need a combie that has a bass section - usually indicated by grey or reverse-colored keys.

so, what im proposing is a straight up swap for something as nice as the top 5 with a bass section - Yamaha YC-10 would be perfect!

or if its something more rare and crazy, we can negotiate other terms.

all i ask is no fritzy basket cases - nobody will fix combo organs up here and i dont know enough about them to do much of anything.

anyone interested can email me at wgg3606@yahoo.com.

    thanks guys and gals!

    -tango.

    Hey tango,

I have a YC10 I'm looking to unload but not really for another combo organ (already have a Vox Connie).  If you had a Fender Rhodes, or a Piano Bass or something to trade, that might be different LOL.  But why don't you try joining up on Yahoo's Combo Organ group?  There's lots of guys over there that seem to be looking for swaps and such.  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ComboOrgan/  Plus it's a great place for technical help, in case you find a YC-whatever that needs a little TLC.  ...although, the Yamahas seem to be pretty bulletproof both from what I hear and from my own experience!  Anyway good luck with it.  Scott

ill see what he says about shipping it... enticing people to send heavy organs to alaska can be tricky, but in this case, definitely worth a shot... not a bad price and hey, thats the organ Kori Gardner uses in Mates of State... can you say hot?!
