Somehow I just cant put Taylor&Boody and 4m in the same sentance.... seems very odd.

nice accoustic in there, as I understand it "they want their E.M. Skinner back"....not sure Taylor & Boody would be the ones for that.. lol

Great organ program there, I attended alot of Bach recitals there over the years....I forget now but one day a week at lunchtime or something they have a Bach recital for about 30 mins...on the Schlicker that replaced the E.M. Skinner.

e power biggs was instrumental in the 2 sclickers in 1965 since he had become friendly with that firm

I do like the Schlicker that is in there...very very very nice for Bach...but I'm SURE the T&B will be so as well......very exciting that such a nice organ will be going in there.

I do understand that the Schlicker there has had its day...I recall just from sitting downstairs looking back up at the facade that several pipes were leaning so I can just imagine that there is much more going on behind the facade that needs serious work at this point...but that is just a guess on my part.... I believe this is a wonderful development.....if ever a church in NYC is deserving of something really special, this one is one that is so.....i have so much admiration for the organ program there...as I noted earlier.....I often went to the Bach recitals there back in the 1990's and early 2000's (I lived a short walk away so it was nice to pop down there for a recital from time to time..and this was even before I was really "into" organs.
