    I guess those typewriter keys were replaced by the reverse octave presets?

    Yes, that's right. Built between 1937 and 1942. Sold then for $1980.00. Has two preamps, one for each manual/volume pedal. Also has a visual position indicator for the pedals using a cable system. Separate adjustable tremulants for each manual. It also has a chorus tone generator.

    Approx. weight = 579lbs.

    My buddy had one of these but sold it and regrets it now.  They are pretty rare from what I understand. It was hooked to a Leslie. Man it screamed.

    Hey, that's my very cool Hammond Concert E!  And it's still for sale if anybody's interested in it.  I'm up here in Vancouver Canada.

    Awww, man.....I had one of these too, and i'll forever kick myself for selling it.  I even recapped the generator and installed two separate preamps to divide the expressions between two 31H Leslies--pseudo stereo!!  These are awesome old organs!
