Anyone know who might be interested in a very nice Rodgers 770 at a bargain price? We have one that we need to find a home for, and will let it go for $4,000 if the buyer will come and pick it up. It is located in central Arkansas.
This one is practically mint condition, clean and beautiful, works perfectly. Built in the mid 1980's, and renovated a few years ago by a company that retro-fitted it with an advanced MIDI system and some of the Walker enhancements.
Details -- two manual, lighted (LED) stoptab console, fully AGO, with full-featured dual-memory combination action. Four main audio channels including a subwoofer output, plus antiphonal capabilities. Excellent classical stoplist, typical of larger Rodgers analogs, with complete principal choruses, flutes at all essential pitches, variety of strings and celestes, assorted solo reeds, festival trumpet, harp and carillon, pedals all the way down to 32' stops. As usual with Rodgers analogs, tremendous voicing and finishing capabilities on all the stops. While some stops are unified, there is little or no borrowing between divisions, so this organ has much more resources than the smaller analog Rodgers models.
It has been the home practice instrument of my friend. We have already sold the speakers separately, but if needed I can provide a set of Rodgers cabinets at reasonable cost. Amps are in the console, so only speakers are needed to make it play.
Please contact me privately for more information, or post questions here. Thanks.
