    Add a Reference Section?

    Hello,

I would like to recommend adding a Reference section to this site.  In that area, sub-divisions might include:

    • Organ History Links (Maybe divided into Electronic and Pipe)
    • Pipe Organ Builders (links to business' websites)
    • Electronic Organ Builders (links to business' websites)
    • Organ Reference Sites (i.e. organstops.org)
    • Organ Classifieds Sites (i.e. Church Organ Trader)

Perhaps you could also include in this section where one can purchase Pipe Organ repair materials, or Electronic Organ parts (i.e. I'm looking for some LEDs for a card reader right now).

Thanks in advance for considering this request.

    Michael

    Allen Organs (505-B & ADC-6000), Frazee Pipe Organ (2/13 w/chimes),
Pump Organs (Estey, Sears & Roebuck, Mason & Hamlin, Chicago Cottage, Williams & Sons, Angelius, Cornish)
Pianos (Ivers sq. grand ca.1865, Ivers & Pond Upright-1929, Technics SX-PR600)

    Re: Add a Reference Section?

    Hello myorgan,

An excellent idea you posit.  Unless the actual *mechanics* of putting this reference section together can be pooled out to the many members of this most august forum, the management might balk.  It would mean an halacious amount of work for an already overtaxed administrator.  The poor bloke would go bonkers.  How 'bout it ladies and gents?

    Humbly,

    K-Phone

    Hey Michael,

A gentleman named Harris (not David Harris) does those LED retrofits on Allen card readers and I am virtually certain that he is a member of this Forum.

    Cheers!

    Party!!!
