    Description

    Item Specifics - Item Condition
    Condition:
    Used

The organ is electric-pneumatic, and has 21 stops and 3 ranks, based on a 4'
Principal, 8' Gedeckt and 8' Trompette. The whole organ is on 4" of wind
pressure. The builder is Smith from Kansas City. I am not sure how old the
instrument is, but when I purchased it 3 years ago the owner told me it was
around 5 years old. I think it is around 10 years old. The whole organ is on a
movable platform. From floor to the top of the case measures 8' 1/4''. The
platform is 5'' high and 6' 1/4'' on each side.

The organ is located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and should be removed before
    July 1, 2006.

1926 Estey Opus 2453 located in Hamlet North Carolina. Original installation in Mooresville, NC. Organ was installed in the Hamlet church in 1954 and is still extant. Organ is available for immediate pick up. Church has just installed a new Rodgers organ.

Tripper combination action. The blower motor (Century Electric 104/208 single phase) was rewound early this year at a cost of $800.00 and is included with the blower assembly in excellent condition.

Chimes included .. EP action as well as EP swell shutters. All parts of the organ to be removed by the successful bidder within 30 days. A quality pipe organ from a well known firm. I am acting as agent for the church to assist in the sale. All proceeds go directly to the church. Any questions, please email.

Many of us dream of having a pipe organ at home. Here's one for YOU !!

Thanks for looking and happy bidding !

    ......
my 2 cents, this has to be a UNIT organ, the console looks recently rebuilt.

This auction is for a 12 rank Moller-Kilgen organ.
You are bidding on an "almost" complete pipe organ.
Everything is here with one exception - there is no wind line.
I needed a 17 ft U-Haul to move this organ and it filled it to the top.
If you are looking for a project - this is it.

I paid considerably more than I'm afraid I'm going to get from this listing.
I estimate the pipes alone are worth more than triple the reserve price.
But frankly, I'm moving and it has to go.
If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. I will reply as soon as I can.

This item is sold "as is," pick up only -- it cannot be shipped.
Winner will agree to pick up within 2 weeks after sale and agrees to take
the complete organ including all chests, Zephyr blower, regulators, pipes etc.

Will accept a money order or cashier's check.
Must receive payment within 5 days after winning bid or I reserve the right to relist.

The pictures are from the previous owners when it was setup and working.

    Re: Ebay items of interest

Oh my gosh! If I had the resources, I'd rent a moving truck and take that in a second if it were in my area. Looks like a fairly nice console, and it's got pipes to go with it. You can't complain.

Re: Pipe Organs for sale on Ebay

I had no idea you could get this on Ebay! Those are some really nice organs. If I had the space and capital, I'd be on my way in a U-Haul by now!

Re: Pipe Organs for sale on Ebay

reedguy: yes I'm still new to the organ world and it always amazes me that genuine pipe organs go for so little. On occasion I've seen Aeolian Skinner's, EM Skinners, Holtkamps. Just about anything imaginable shows up on ebay from time to time.

I realize the cost is in installing/setting them up but if you are very particular and handy a home pipe organ is something that is quite obtainable, and MUCH MUCH MUCH less expensive than a new Allen digital toaster.

    another pipe organ just listed:

Re: Pipe Organs for sale on Ebay

I tried looking through e-bay for organs, but I can't seem to get anywhere. Is there a way to narrow the search parameters so that I can see more of these lovely instruments?

Re: Pipe Organs for sale on Ebay

You can just type in "Organ" in the search box in the top right hand corner, although you'll get everything that pertains to "Organ" with obvious results.

For a more precise search, go to the main categories down the left side, choose "Musical Instruments" then look for "Organ" in the Keyboard/Piano section. You can then list them in different order by using the drop-down menu at the top right corner of the list. I usually sort  by 'Highest Price First', that way all the junk generally goes to the end (except high-priced junk).

Re: Pipe Organs for sale on Ebay

I just do a search using "organ pipes". It usually picks up on more items than "pipe organ".
There's a 3 manual Estey on ebay right now
