Can a Leslie 110 be used with a Conn 580T2 Theaterette?

I have a Leslie 110, with cables & switches that was originally used with a Schoeber Theatre Organ.*

I have purchased the Conn & the present owner says that there is a 6pin external Leslie output on the Amp.

Is it possible to use the 110 with the Conn? Would I need a different connector box?

Although the leslie and the organ use 6 pin connections, they are very different. The Conn 580 is designed to work only with the leslie 251. Plug a110 into a 251 socket and you'll damage organ, leslie or both. You'd need a connector kit, commonly known as a 26-1 or as a 7269.

To be honest the 110 won't do much for the sound as the rotor in the 110 is identical to the one in the Conn. You'll get greater separation of sound but no real improvement in tone quality.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Many thanks. I have since found out that it is a Conn T1.

I'm sure *your answer applies to it as well.
