    Gulbransen Columbia 110

Spotted one of these recently. Apparently a very basic digital spinet from the early 80-ies. Does anyone perhaps know anything about these little animals?

I quite like the slotted wooden front panel instead of he customary grille cloth - and typically Gulbransen, might also have a similar back. The keys are not level - likely from prolonged enthusiastic thumping just prior to the introduction of noisier machinery ... I know that on those models the key supports tend to sag after a time but can be renovated. It belongs to a church and has fallen into disuse in favor of the noisy machinery mentioned.
I might be tempted...... once more...

    That's not a Gulbransen Columbia, that's a Viscount C110. Here's the real Gully.

As for the Viscount, it will need work with the 2lb sledgehammer, er, adjustment tool! Or perhaps seamaster will burn it with fire.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Thanks Andy. I stand corrected on the make and model, only had the picture to work from..... and I think the temptation has suddenly cured itself. Perhaps I shall keep my sledgehammer intact also......

Seamaster, don't bother, I have been cured...
