After listening to this setup a while, overall the sound is good, although initially I think the organ's volume output was a little louder than the Leslie, and as a result, the blending of the two left the Leslie's effect a little subdued compared to what I hear in online videos, so I've been tweaking the two volume pots on the 710 looking for a good balance.

The one exception to the Leslie's output being somewhat overshadowed is at the very upper register chords, say like those during the walk down chorus of AWSOP with a registration of 68 8600 000. These higher tones tend to be more pronounced, and get a bit shrill and overpowering, compared to the rest of the organ's range. I don't feel like these tones are distorted, just louder, harsher. I don't get this sense when playing the organ without the Leslie, so I'm convinced the overpowering highs are coming from the Leslie. I can dial this back a bit with the upper volume pot on the 710, but that tends to weaken the balance in the middle registers, which already sound subdued to me..... I'm tempted to switch the audio leads coming from the organ's preamp, and take the audio feed directly from the speaker terminals.

...Well... after I typed all that above, I made a couple of short recordings of the 710's rotosonic with my cell phone for troubleshooting advice I want to ask about. So while I was at it I recorded a bit playing to see if anyone had any remarks on the balance of the tone, etc. WOW! The Leslie effects on this short video are much, MUCH stronger than what I hear sitting at the organ (the Leslie is immediately to the right of the organ). Hmmm... this definitely changes my perception of the speaker.

    Anyway, on to the questions...
    - I don't hear any sound coming from the two small side facing speakers in the 710. Is this normal when the 710 is converted to single channel with the Trek II LCO-1A crossover? This seems to be what the Trek II label is saying in the attached image.

    - In the next three video's linked below, note the movement of the Rotosonic's upper spindle. Is this amount of free play/wobble abnormal, and serious enough that I should investigate the issue? It seems like the upper part of the shaft might be bent a little, but I can't imagine how that could happen.

    - The last video is just a bit of playing. The intent was to demonstrate the subdued tremolo nature of the 710, and the overbearing highs. As I pointed out however, things sound a lot different in the video than they do to me here in person.

Thanks for the clarification on the side speakers. I was hoping I didn't screw up the wiring somehow when I put in the Trek II crossover.

No one has an opinion on my rotosonic wobble?
