I didn't know Jethro Tull had any organ in their songs. You wouldn't be thinking of the recorder, (or whatever it is), that Ian Anderson used to play, are you?

I could see how that might sound like an organ on old recordings.

Rhodes usually refers to a type of electric piano, by the way.

Edit: Now that I think about it, there is a good chance that they threw some Hammond in there.

Also, Wikipedia states that John Evan was keyboardist for Jethro Tull

Okay, I'm watching a video of Velvet Green right now, there several keyboards... I see a tonewheel Hammond, likely a C3 , some thing with 88 keys; probably an acoustic piano, something that looks like a Mellotron.....

Oh, you are right. They do have a portative organ.

For a band that I have never noticed organ in, they are packing keyboard instruments like Yes.

I think they usually come in kits for around $300.
