Need advice for a tone cabinet for an Electone Fx10
We have a Yamaha Electone at our church and would like to add a nice tone cabinet to it. Our sanctuary is fairly large (seats 1000) so the cabinet needs a considerable amount of power. Any suggestions on what to purchase and what would be needed is greatly appreciated.
p.s. This organ was purchased brand-new by a well meaning benefactor of the church who had no idea that it was a home organ. Rather than hurt her feelings and ship it back, I would prefer to just keep it and make the adjustments necessary for it to work in our services.

Re: Need advice for a tone cabinet for an Electone Fx10
I have an Electone FX-20 and I'm also looking for a tone cabinet. I found a nice Yamaha 200-watts speaker but it is used for guitar, etc. and not really for organ. I'm beginning to have doubt any Yamaha speakers actually exist.
I also own a C3 Hammond Church Organ. Since your organ allows for either a Yamaha speaker tone cabinet or a Leslie tone cabinet why not consider getting a Leslie. It plugs right into your FX-10 in one of the two sockets. Be sure to get the cable also that connects the organ to the speaker cabinet. Leslie would soung "glorious" in your church. Check eBay as they have them often. Good luck.
By the way, the FX-10 is not really a home organ. It is a theatre organ but often used in the home because of it's magnificent sound quality.
