Where to get music by Achille Phillip?

I am very impressed with this composer based on the two excellent recordings by Gerard Brooks: http://www.allclassical.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=41:70981

I'vebrowsed at Flūte de Pan in Paris as well as other shops in Europe, but have had no luck!

Short of contacting Mr. Brooks, does anyone have any leads?

    Thanks!

You are indeed in luck - www.chamberlainmusic.com have four pieces available by Achille Philip, including the Lied which I believe is on his recording from St.Pierre, Douai.
This site is excellent for hard-to-find pieces of music. Simply enter the main page, and further down is the sheet music search.

    Hope this helps!

I thought I would bump this thread up, as I have just come into possession of a PDF of Phillip's Toccata and Fugue(all legal, I'm sure, before I get the copyright police on my tail...). If anyone would like me to send them the score, feel free to PM me and I will forward it on.

I think it would be great to organize some sort of music sharing thing. (legal or not if you ask me )

I have the CD-ROMS of Bach and French Romantic.
Finally self-published some of my compositions! https://www.createspace.com/3734555

There are certain scores I've been trying to get my hands on for a long time - and the publishers (who are so paranoid about copyright infringement) don't do themselves any favours by removing them from availability to us eager organists!

Of course, the legal status of some of theseonline scoresare somewhat dubious- I've seen none other than the Trois Preludes et Fugues by my beloved Marcel Dupre available on the net, not so long ago. Weren't these only published in about 1912? I'm not sure of all the rules and regulations, but for the record, I have my own, legally purchased score. []

Of course, I wish I could say the same about my new Mariah Carey 'Greatest Hits' Double CD album... [:$]

[+o(] [+o(] [+o(] Tim, when you said you had a Mariah Carey CD, did you realize you were on the Organ Forum? And just how do you plan to live that down... [:$] [:$] [:$]

Er...[:$]. Perhaps I thought I was on the SCM Forum (Suicidally Cheesy Music)? Oh come on, she's not that bad!

I've decided to post the address of that site (with a much shorter address than before - sorry soubasse32 [:$])

    https://urresearch.rochester.edu/handle/1802/292

Just search under the keyword 'organ'.
