I would suggest you find your nearest organ built by M.P. Moller organ, and have a look at the blower - if you can - since Moller almost universally outfitted their instruments with blowers by Kinetic.
Greetings:
I am attempting to find the proper color for a wooden Kinetic blower. I know it is green, but what shade of green.
Also was the paint gloss, semi gloss, or flat? I have taken apart the blower hoping to find some undamaged paint
but the unit is 100 yrs old and what I did find was faded. Of course to make things worse the previous owner
painted the case army green. Any suggestions would be appreciated. One other question: where can I have the
info tag (brass base) professionally refurbished? I need someone with more skill than I have. Thanks in advance
dan

This is a good idea, as long as the organ is an older example. I'm not certain of when they made the change but the vintage 1950 Moller I rebuilt a few years ago has a steel-can Kinetic blower rather than the wood box type, and the color is very different.
If you could let us know your location perhaps someone here can direct you to one that is nearby?
I would like to thank both Majestique and Austin 766 for you great suggestions. I did locate a local church will a Moller organ and
Kinetic blower. The paint shop called this morning and I will pick up the case tomorrow, I am anxious to see the outcome. Many
thanks. dan
Rust-Oleum Forest Green is a pretty good match. I think the original paint was a "flatter" finish than the Rust-Oleum product gives, but that was the least of my worries the last time I painted a "Jolly Green Giant."
