Bottom end gets lost when vibrato chorus engaged on a BV

Okay,I've got my bv ran out into 2 channels on a mixer, the original bv preamp is awaiting a recap so the mixer serves as amplifier as well, one channel is straight off the rheostat box, second channel is straight of the vibrato scanner,I use a little preamp between the rhestat and vibrato line spades as it would be via the original amp and it sounds pretty good but I notice my vibrato chorus lacks bottom end and is a bit noisy,I'm assuming this is because the vibrato line/delay needs recapped and new resistors where needed, but under optimal running condition does the vibrato channel lack in bottom end by design since it's meant to be mixed back into one signal originally?

Yes, the chorus does lack the bottom notes. It provides the chorus effect for only three octaves, corresponding to frequencies 56 to 91. Frequency 56 is the G one octave higher than the G above middle C.
