This is a 1992 Technics SX-FN3 Console Organ, serial # 792C2476. In 1992, it was the top of the line model of Technics organs. It's list price at that time was $24,495.00. This organ has a very complete MIDI implementation, and would be ideal for someone looking for a console organ to play a Virtual Pipe Organ / Hauptwerk set up from. By itself, it is a very complete organ as well, with many features and a huge variety of sounds. Just some of the features include : 16 master control panel preset buttons that memorize every control panel setting for instant recall, lots of voices; way more than at first glance as every voice button has a good selection of variations you can call up, all the voices and variations are editable for parameters and effects, a very complete rhythm section with all sorts of chord and accompaniment options, a built in sequencer for recording and playing back your performances, two full 61 note keyboards with velocity touch sensitivity, a 25 note radiating full size pedalboard, and a full compliment of Inputs and Outputs including MIDI In, Out, and Thru. For a full console organ this one is pretty efficient space wise; it's footprint is 48"X48" including the pedals and bench. It weighs only 238 pounds and is easily transportable in a minivan or the like. This organ is in great shape cosmetically, and almost everything works on it just as designed. The only item that does not work is the floppy disc drive. When you insert a disc to read, it makes a noise and will not read it. If one was inclined to need to have one, they are available, and not hard to install. When I got it, the expression pedal did not function, but I have repaired that with a new photocell. This organ is available for purchase, because I have no need for it ( I have plenty already ), and it will not fit the needs of the location I had in mind for it. I am prepared to make someone a really sweet deal on it. All legitimate offers will be considered.
