Supposing this organ works, then $100 is a great price for a Wurlitzer 4140! Dust wipes off easy enough. It's got the Spectratone and plenty of incredible tone. You won't knock a Wurlitzer of this vintage if you know how great it is to play one. So the dude writing the ad is probably an immigrant, probably wrote it like would say it.
Listen to the second track on side two , cued up and ready to play following record of John La Duca... notice it's all organ and only organ, no guitar Listen to the use of pitch bend on the edge of the swell pedal... of course I've said all this before, but apparently can't say it enough. EnjoyBTW, John is playing a 4500, but the 4140 has everything the 4500 has, just in a spinet version. Spectra-tone,Vibrato,Reverb,Repeat Percussion,Slide[Pitch Bend],Sustain, and of course Ssh-Boom. All hardwood cabinet,Jensen special design speakers, high grade Sprague and Mallory capacitors. No joke, the best!.
