I once gave a very exciting recital during a minor tornado some five miles away. I (inadvertently) programmed Le Vent de l'Esprit (Messiaen) at the end; everyone was cracking up. Performing with the threat of immanent natural disaster is such a great adrenaline rush!
Does anyone here play Keeble's music? It's charming stuff.
