I'm so...confused. Doesn't that appear to be a 25 year old Rodgers console? Where is that, Venice Beach? And Rodgers is using this for promotional purposes? Wasn't Cameron promoting Johannus organs just a couple years ago? Who's building his super-duper touring organ...I thought it was going to be M&O. It's all a bit fishy, to say the least.
I'm not a fan of CC in the least but tried to watch this program anyway. Got to the part, about 10 minutes in, where he said the future of large pipe organs is dead and digital is the way to go now. Fortunately my daughter called about that time and I didn't throw anything at the television. The guy can play a mean organ but he's hard for me to relate to.
"The employment of the piano is forbidden in church, as is also that of noisy frivolous instruments such as drums, cymbals, bells and the like." St. Pius X
He used the word " hate" quite often in his interview as well. I was only eager to see what CNN actually was portraying in the piece. You never ever hear of docs. on organs on TV
