anybody can help a poor belgian ?
Hi guys,
yesterday,I received my farfisa compact deluxe.
I bought it from a guy who said that it was in "perferct working order"...the guy sended the compact deluxe to me when I turn on the farfisa deluxe evrything seems to be ok but after 30 minutes the volume of the bass notes and grey notes decrease drastically when I put the grey keys selector on bass and when I put the grey keys selector on the treble mode, only the black keys have a huge volume drop and the percussion bass didn't work.I turn off the farfisa and try again and still the same problem after 30 minutes...and a second problem is that 4 keys makes no sound on the 2-2/3' voice but I can hear a little noise that proveme that the keys makes contact
I don't think this problem was caused by a shock during the shipping.
I'm really disappointed because I paid a lot to be sure that the compact was ok and it was broken....
If Anybody can help me to solve those problems? It would be awesome
somebody on Combo organ's group had the same problem and solve it??
It's bad day for me but I'm sure the the day will be better with your responses
Sorry for my english spoken ...
All the best
Jean

It sounds to me like sagging voltages, probably from old filter capacitors in the power supply. Do you hear any humming as the volume gets lower? Can you make the volume drop quicker by pressing many keys at once?
The missing tones can probably be isolated to the tone generators. Try each stop individually and see if this reveals any other missing notes.
I am not an expert with these organs, so hopefully others can give you more assistance.
