I've got a T2, and it sounds pretty awesome. My understanding is that the T1 is pretty much a single manual version of the T2, so I'd say go for it! Especially if it's cheap.

Sounds pretty sweet to me...especially the bass, and that's just through earbuds.
I had one years ago and got a Korg (the analog version of the current model - I forget the number) and the Korg was much better. But I was comparing to a real Hammond. That may not be the goal on this particular sub-forum.
