Jan G just started a site for historical organ reference and discussion. He could give you tips on starting your site. The second step would be to pass word along to the appropriate orchestra networks.
Folks,
Does anyone know of a website where an intelligent discussion of organ registration, organ performance practice with orchestras, and orchestra performances in general could be found? It recently occurred to me that organists who play for symphony orchestras have no means of discussion between each other regarding preferences in performing different orchestra pieces with organ. Perhaps the discussion could be threaded alphabetically by composer and piece?
In my case, I went to my former college professor and discussed the piece with him, but it occurred to me that he's not going to be around forever. Such a discussion would also provide an historical record of performance practices at a particular time in history.
Just a thought.

OrgansR4Me,
Thanks for the response. Evidently, I don't travel in the "right" circles!Your advice is probably the way to go with starting a site. I was kinda hoping for something like this site, but with moderated input. I'm sure this software has that capabilities (like the Grease Pit has), but not sure if I have the time to devote to it.
Thanks again.
