    Hammond Oil in the UK?

Hi everyone, Apologies for the multiple threads, I'm new here

I've tried searching but words under 3 characters don't trigger in the search so I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get some Hammond oil from in the UK?

I've looked at Key Player (Edinburgh Organ Studio) and they do 1 years worth for 7.50 however I think I may need more as I don't think my L100 has been oiled in a few years.. or do you guys think I'll be alright with just that?

I've also looked at eBay and can have a 4 Fl.Oz bottle shipped over but I was looking for anywhere in the UK preferably

    Thanks

Hi Graham Sutton sells it but only takes cheques, so might be just as quick to order from Goff or Tonewheel General.

    Cheers

http://www.hallettoil.co.uk/modeloiluk/mengpr.htm ... Mobil DTE 24 and 26 are ISO 32 and 68 respectively and about $10 per gallon. ... "DTE Medium Heavy". I see the Heavy Medium in gallon containers, but not the Light. ...

Mobil DTE machine oil, according to mcmaster.com has no metals, no detergent, only a tiny bit of a long named non-metalic preservative. Don't use anything heavier than sus32. (SAE 10). Mobil DTE is repackaged in gallon containers in the US by mcmaster.com, don't know if this google result hallettoil.co.uk packages in 1 gallon containers or not.
I wouldn't buy "hammond" oil off E-bay unless the source was hammond-suzuki.com(I get the USA site), tonewheel-general.com(US), captain-foldback.com (canada) or another reputable vendor that people here have experience with. E-bay rates the vendor for promptness of shipment, fiscal responsibility, and accurate description. Problem oils (like automotive oil or 3 in 1 oil) will cause problems in the 3-10 year area, so the E-bay rating is not instructive.
And it is not the amount of oil you use, it is how long you give it to soak to the end of the threads. Heaping it up in the tray doesn't help, but tipping it up and putting a drop on each thread, does.

Ah thanks for that, I'll probably just go with the years amount and give it plenty of time to soak in thanks

Shtaken? No shir, not Shtirred a'tall.

Nah. Only wimpy nancies get stressed by trifles like that. Had to pick eveerything up again for the nth time though.

It's not as cool as raiding tombs for ancient treasures, but at least it's a dose of adrenaline.
Gotta have it once in a while or the 9 to 5 kills ya.
