The Late Ray Thornley Australian Organist....

    Hi all...
With Ray Thornley's sad passing some yrs ago I have restored some LP's.
The first is "Christmas with Ray Thornley in Yamaha Musicland" which he recorded on Yamaha's Electone E70.
Here's the link to the" filefactory" and note there are TWO files- YOU NEED BOTH FILES- being sides 1 & 2
Ray Thornley at Christmas in Yamaha Musicland side 1 - http://www.filefactory.com/f/ba8fc0a58d85eeb8
    Then add side 2- http://www.filefactory.com/f/bab344f545168697
    Let's know what you think.
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone. Cheers.

    Update re: Ray Thornley LP

Guys the mp3 files mentioned in earlier post have now been loaded to a more user friendly site.
There is no payment involved, just out to perpetuate the artistry of our former friend and colleague Ray Thornley.
    So do take a listen.
    Cheers all.

(The late) Aussie Organist Ray Thornley at the Gulbransen 600 Theatre download link

Members this is the result of 2 days work in digitally remastering so I hope you
    like it.
Featuring Aussie concert organist (the late) Ray Thornley at the Gulbransen
    Theatre Console 600.
The dynamic range of this record is wide- so careful with your volume control!
From the delicate Music Box Dancer to Ray's awesome "all stops out" arrangement
of Anchors Away- this recording will entertain you and it will also blow the
    cobwebs off your speaker system!!!
So relax to this broad selection of musical "colours" which is given all the
more gusto by the organ's throaty "Leslie Rotosonic" speaker system and,of
    course,Ray's sheer keyboard wizardry.
Have a listen and please do come back to share your comments.

Just finished vinyl LP record restoration-Yamaha D85 Ray Thornley

I have digitally cleaned up the vinyl noise on this very nice recording of
popular tunes from the 70's that the Late Ray Thornley-Australian Yamaha Concert
    Artist recorded on Electone D85.

Having known Ray for quite some time I am sure he would appreciate us seeing in
the New year of 2011 with his creative musical talent leading the way for
keyboard musicians and music lovers in general.
So it's very appropriate this recording is titled "Way Out In Front"....
Note the record is in TWO PARTS-so you need BOTH mp3 files.
To do justice to this fine recording the files are "a bit big" but hopefully
you'll agree Ray's fabulous playing makes it all worthwhile.
Please enjoy and revisit with your feedback

That link took me to a site called "Buddy TV" and tried to download a bunch of noise like you would hear in a bar. People talking, glasses clinking, etc. I couldn't get it to stop either. Finally had to restart the computer and delete the file before getting back on the internet.

Hey are you manually typing in the address and maybe introducing an error in typing? If so I suggest just click on this link-if that doesn't work due to firewall or cookies settings (or whatever) then try highlighting the address link, then use control C and control v method to place info into address bar..
It is a fair dinkum address for the right reasons-this is not a malicious exercise!! let's know..Cheers
