    Baldwin 48H

    Hey,

I am considering buying a Baldwin 48H for $200. The organ is in good condition, except the switch is a little tricky and it needs to be tuned. Will getting this organ tuned be expensive?

I am considering this organ because I am a beginner and I need a practice organ.

    Thanks!!

Assuming it is a electronic organ and you can find somebody that works on the Baldwin (we did) the job should run between 1 - 2 hours at around $75 per hour. Might want to check around to make sure you can find a tech the knows Baldwins. Does this model have the AGO pedalboard or the princess?

    Hey & Thanks,

It doesn't have the AGO pedalboard--it has a 25 note one.

    It's a solid state organ.

Are you taking lessons on a 25 key pedalboard? If not, I would hold off and try to find one that has a AGO or at least a Princess. If you are a keyboardist learning the organ the pedal is going to be one of the main things you will be learning.
