How do you recommend I sell a Lowrey Festival

I am considering selling a Lowrey Festival Model NL/20. How would I go about doing this? Should I go to an instrument store? Sell it online? How much should Iask for it? There is nothing wrong with it, it was my grandfathers and he bought it in the mid 90's new. I am trying to reseach the organ to see what a fair asking price would be, but I am just not sure. I need a starting point. Any advice would be appreciated.

The market for home organs is bad.I don't think you will be able to sell it. I'm wondering if you'll even be able to give it away. Craiglist is probably the best place to start. At least once a week I see someone giving away something similar to your's on my local Craigslist. Sorry to be so negative. Good luck.

The NL20 is an OK little Lowrey but not a classic or a desired model. Although the market is on the floor, you'll get a little for it, but not that much. Transport charges would outweight the value of most organs, so people don't usually buy at a distance. Local advertising is the only way to go, so Craigslist is a good start.

If you join the Lowrey Yahoo group you'll probably find a member there who'll be able to give you a sensible asking price.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
