Thanks a lot!
Ill have to get back to you after I absorb it and have looked at my supplies some more.
Ive been modding pedals a bit for practice now, but PSUs are scary things :D
Ill be back...
Done and done, I measured amperage and it rarely went above 1A but I got 3A supplies to be safe (and they didnt make 1.5 anymore).
My aim is to use 2 seperate supplies to be safe, and remove all...
Its because/where they use the Yamaha IG155/6 filter chips Ive added CV.
I havent made anything at all, just added some connections and moved some pots.
Its the same filters used in the CS series...
Yeah, but thats an older version of the knob layout from months ago, I redid that whole panel, boxed in the drumbit and prettied things up.
Ive got speed and depth for the vibraphone, speed for...
Close but not quite, Ive broken and fixed those quite a few times since then :D
I did bridge two keyboards but did it the strictly mechanical way:

And a bad pic of it in the corner, quite a...
Thats ... they do that now? I mean I knew organ people were often a bit behind the times, but not one of them said that was a horrible idea and smacked the one suggesting it over the head?
Im getting help from the highly liquid guys for my D85s MIDI, a bit slow, but with a schematic theyll help you with a solution.
I think the problem is basically that the clock also goes through all the logic circuits concerning buttons and such as well? At least on the older models.
On the Yamaha D85, drums slows down...
If the chinese floppy emulator does work on the yamaha organs, at least buy it for 50 dollars on ebay, the resellers dont deserve 200 dollars profit just for importing it.
Youll find much finer organs than that for free with a little patience.
Download link was bottom of the page below the pictures: the blue HERE
REG that last one is just a repackaged chinese one.
Lots of people try to sell them for far higher prices, that in itself makes them untrustworthy imo.
Also I think theyre read only and have no...
When it could transmit files via MIDI anyway it seems legit, just a matter of mapping the sysex commands for someone who knows what theyre doing I suppose.
I doubt it does much more than the MDR...
The best I found, and that I chose myself for my Ensoniq TS10, is the HxC Floppy Drive Emulator Rev F.
This was because I also needed the excellent support they had, where the programmer just fixes...
Ebay has gone completely down the drain when it comes to synths.
Inflated prices (Theres another CS80 for 10000 pounds)
All those hopelessly priced old analog synths are the only examples many...
Supporting only -15v keying, not scanners ... booo the search goes on.
Only -15v system Ive found that didnt involve doing lots of voltage shifting circuits.
I cannot find anything on this item online, but it is supposedly a MIDI retrofit from WERSI supporting negative 15v keyscanners
Anyone familiar with it?
Heres the item Im looking at, price at...
Crumar Stratus, Actual bargain, for the synth interested in the uk (got some crappy organ on it as well) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230858462647#ht_500wt_1414
Cheer up, theres to many funny contradictions to laugh at ;)
Hmm, Snowbandit, I guess that explains Mel Gibson?
First check the connections, either the C12 or C8 on the Wave Generator Board if youre missing orchestra voices as well, otherwise check the op-amps IC 8 and 12 on the circuit board along the top...
Thanks, helped a lot, at least it pointed me to what type of synthesis they used and such.
Ive got similar bases covered so will pass.
Ive got someone offering a Wersi Pegasus with flight for 200 pounds.
Whats its specs?
Looks more workstation than organ, this is an earlier one with just the Wersi logo on the right and the...
Im betting my dollar on "one man string ensemble organ".
Design on buttons and layout looks 1980s Farfisa or even Roland (09?) to me.
Edit: Also Bohm used those buttons in their kits?
Ive got that one from the D85 I chopped, PM me an offer?
Im in Norway so postage might be a little more than usual for the rest of the world.
