The theatrette model is normally 2 keyboard spinet model numbers 550/551/552.
The reality is that demand for small conn organs is like most older organs very very low. Therefore the value is also very low, I'd try for 100 pounds/dollars and be open to offers see how it goes.
A hardly used yamaha but in need of turning for just £150 or could buy now for just £600.

The newest and most powerful is 740 so that would be my preference, have a 750 and is excellent but also have 720 and 722 both good if cheap enough, like look of the 720's.
The cassette units never work on t500, none I've come across, actually one of mine didnt have tape unit, perhaps hammond had given up on them when made that one.
Try plugging something into the input and check the amp/speakers are ok. Does not solve problem but something to check.
Remember the Roy Castle ads for technics, but does it make the organ more collectable or valuable ??
Organ previously owned by roy castle, how rare is that.

I'd get engineer to check it out if they are familiar with technics organs will know any common issues.
If something has failed they will know if parts are available or if could source one from...
The 715/722 was just devleopment of the 710, had extra 6*9 speaker on the front as well as the 2 on the sides, also had 4 amps instead of 2 so is more powerfull on paper about twice as powerfull.
At...
At the moment prices do seem to be on the down rather than on up, even decent 145's are selling for £400 mark, later 11pins are very cheap.
If you can get £150+ I would sell it cant remember a 710...
Early 1990's from aboout 91 to 95.
A bargain conn here just £500 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Theatre-Organ-by-Conn-Fully-Working-/251273483036?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Keyboard_RL&hash=item3a8111131c.
If that too much how about a...
I agree with coment above re organ sim, I was never impressed with the "organ" sounds of the U90 always found it "thin", a technics EA5 is much better organ and now very cheap.
The u90S just splits into 2 make it easier to move. The pro90 is large white stage model with seperate sperakers. No real synth features on the U90, it is a bigger model than the EN4 but much older.
The rv model speakers have a larger top section with the horns to allow for the reverb amp in it but overall cabinet size is the same as standard model. Yes the tall models have one reverb speaker...
If it has issues that valuation is probably on the optimistic side, values do vary from country to country but here in UK have seen good examples struggle to sell at bargain basement prices.
With...
Have seen good 710's go for £200 so depends on condition, but leslie prices do appear to have dropped recently even decent 145's not making £500. Good time to buy not as good to sell.
Yes an L100 series on a decent leslie makes a great sound at bargain price, only buy good condition ones, not something thats toured for 40+years. L100 +145 = great hammond sound for lot less than C3...
It will be in organ heaven with all the hammond f2000's and hammond dolphin organs. Must have been ill to blow all fuses, week back had organ and no leslie, now got leslie and no organ, what...
I think it has gone to organ heaven.
Agree coments on the t series I've done the modification on drawbars to give bit more bite to them.
Bet there will be queue of buyers for Andys 760 good ones are hard to find in wood finish now,...
It will just stop normally when you try and spin with the belt on, but as long as it turns ok cant see a problem. I've bought number of leslies that had not been used for unknown number of years and...
As well as above advie check following. Take top belt off check horns spin free, fire it up and check the motor works ok without the belt, then when OK put belt back, then manually turn horns check...
They have now moved it to organ section as I suggested, apparently an antiques said it would buy it off them and would be 4 figures, advised them to take them up on the generours offer, antiques...
