In recent days, a number of Organ Forum members have reported receiving a Failed Login Notification from the forum. This message is sent when five consecutive login attempts are unsuccessful. The purpose of this notification is to give you the opportunity to strengthen or change your password.

Many of you know that this Forum, as well as other social sites on the Internet, has been under attack from spammers. It now appears they are seeking access to the Organ Forum by hijacking other's accounts.

IF YOU RECEIVE A FAILED LOGIN NOTIFICATION FROM THE ORGAN FORUM, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY! Your account may already have been compromised.

Then please let us know. You can do that by simply replying to the notification email or sending a private message to Admin.

I started playing piano by ear at age 4, started piano lessons at age 6 and started organ at age 10. By the way I am now 66.

If the Hammond organ was invented in 1934 and Fats Waller recorded on it in 1938, wouldn't that make him the first known jazz organist?
