I found a heavy duty tweeter driver for $3 at a thrift a few months ago and since the G3 has a

Leslie drum with a 12" driver that is elevated on 3 sides by about a 2" thick hardwood base ( creates a port on the

4th side for incoming air for the lows for the pedals- man awesome bass!) I mounted the tweeter along one edge

facing down into the revolving drum. Now the highs really speak out. The G3 has a nice tube amp that adds to the

tone. I can't wait to hear what it will sound like through my Leslie 705 that's also sitting next to it. Due to the

fact that I can't put any of my larger organs in the basement because of the door width I am having to put the

Rialto II in my bedroom. It's still in my storage, but I took a piece of cardboard and traced around the end

profile and it will fit in the bedroom as well. Fortunately it's a fairly good size bedroom so there is still room

for a bed lol.

In the Living room, which is smaller- about 15x15 I have my recently acquired RT-2,Leslie 31-H, and the decorative Hammond tone cabinet- the ER20 ( It's like the DR20 internally). The ER20 is also quiet and no hum. The Leslie 31-H is working, but with a hum too loud to live with. It will be easy enough to re-cap. I got the RT-2 in place in the living room and discovered the AO-10 preamp has a totally burned up (internally)AO-21414-1 250V power transformer so I have no real way to hear either of these cab's line-in until I replace that. Actually the ER20 is on beefy casters hidden underneath so I might wheel it into my bedroom and hook it to the Gulbransen G3. That Gully sounds amazing really...

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm moved in and working on the organs I was not as able to do much with at my old place. I have a Hammond HR40 that I'm working on tonight. Surprisingly it is as quiet as a mouse with zero hum on it's fully original everything! I have it located in the basement with my Wurlitzer 4410 electrostatic reed organ and I'm anxious to hook the two together. For kicks I hooked up a pair of Magnaplanar SMG1 speakers to the 4410 and it sound very sweet! These speakers require more power to get volume of equivalent to a standard speaker. I might try the SMG1's in place of the HR40's treble speakers and see what happens. I actually have a speaker switch box so in effect I could try both combinations on the fly as I play and just leave it that way. It just occurred to me that you can get more mileage out of a set-up by switching out speakers as opposed to switching to an entirely different cabinet.

I've just received a few parts from Jan Giardot and also purchased his George Wright disk. I highly recommend it. I've added purchase information in the Electronic Theater Organ threads.

Dear Paul, Thank you for your reply. I've only had it for one week. I've looked it over and can not find autoBass. My other organ is like what your speaking of. My husband and I have checked every connector. They are clean and shinny, and all snugly connected. I have the manuels for the organ, and still can not figure this out. Thank you, Marykay

I have no clue about how or why the tech ruined the pedals. Since he got older and his health not good he is goody goody with the church again. He is even into the ministry somewhat. However, he was far far from that when I worked with him some. I knew his ways, and if he lied to me about those pedals it is likely not the first lie he told. I have had other preachers outright lie to me.
He was so indifferent with his electronic work when he was semi retired that maybe he told me what I wanted to hear.
I am not able to fix anything electronically.
