Now no matter where you live, you can see and hear a demonstration of STAGEA!

Novato, California, USA (October 14, 2004) --- It can be frustrating for consumers when a new instrument model is only available in other countries. It is often difficult to get information on the instrument, much less a demonstration. Such is the case with Yamaha’s newest Electone electronic organ, STAGEA. Now the Electone Zone web site has made it easy for anyone to see and hear a demonstration of this new instrument.

“STAGEA Hands-on” is a near one hour long DVD video demonstration of the STAGEA Electone. Hosted by professional organ demonstrator and artist Gene Roberson, the video takes you through over 125 music styles, features and discussion topics. Utilizing many of STAGEA’s real-time playing features, Mr. Roberson adeptly demonstrates his ability to summon countless musical styles and motifs. His experience as a trade show demonstrator shows-through as he thoughtfully weaves-in helpful information about how the instrument works and how to have fun with it.

“Our goal for the video was to present the instrument as if you were looking over the shoulder of a salesman.” Louis Ewens is the producer of the video and founder of the Electone Zone web site. “With a fantastic player like Gene it is easy to become captivated by his style and musical artistry. The dual cameras let you see both the player and the instrument.”

STAGEA is also the first Electone model to feature an optical digital-out port. This allowed Electone Zone to incorporate pure digital recordings of the instrument into the DVD. Viewers of the title can hear for themselves how digital audio makes a difference by watching for the innovative “Digital Activate” on-screen feature. Both Fanfare tracks on the disc let you hear, and see, how digital audio improves the quality of sound.

Electone Zone has been bringing together the world Electone community since 1992. The site is privately funded and independently owned.
