Has anyone taken an ao-28 (console) preamp or a Trek SSP-3 and installed it into your M3? I wanna get rid of the big-ol M3 amp and use a console preamp, since I'm just gonna run it into a leslie, anyway. If you've done it, please educate me, so I don't have learn the hard way. Cheers.

I've not tried that particular trick, but If I remember right, the percussion and bass sustain are all in that same box. If you don't need them, then I guess you could get rid of it. I'm sure someone else knows more than me however.

The percussion is built into the other preamps as well, so that's no problem. Thanks though.
