The orpheus 25 come with and without amp. It had a 12" jensen speaker over the single drum rotorm and made as good a tremelo as the single rotor build in leslies of the next decade. The treble driver and top horn rotor make a huge difference. The actual doppler effect of a leslie comes from the horn; the drum just makes tremelo. You won't get the scream and wah of a starting leslie that makes jazz blues and rock organ interesting ut you will have something better than vibrato (even the fan tremelo in the cx and dx hammond cabinets were better than vibrato IMHO)
As far as the amp is concerned there is a small one available with 2 push-pull 6L6 tubes for about 10 watts - I think. The connector box , cable, and half-mood switches are probably more expensive that the leslie itself. If you can get a working model 25, you can do your won connecting like this:
Cut and strip the green and black wires that go into your m-3's speaker
Splice enough speaker wire to get to your leslie.
attach ends into pin holes 1 and 6 of your leslie. If you have no amp you should now hear sound comming from the leslie's speaker, but no tremelo.
advice from here on is from memory, so be carefull and hope for more certain advice.
>>>>Attach house current (117VAC) in pin holes 3 and 4. If you have an amp, it should now light up, and MAY start the tremelo
Work around with chords in pins 2 and 5 to turn tememlo motor off and on. This is live house current so don't test it on your tounge. Build whatever switch boxes you want. They won't look as cool as half-moons, but maybe you can cover them with doilies when not in use.
