Got my copy today. In my humble opinion, Black Beauty had more character than Royal Five.If you want to hear Bach that will positively knock your socks off, gitchee wun of these
Virgil's readings of Bach on a pipe organ are unequalled by anyone on this planet,past or present. Sad that he did not make a separate recording of Bach on the Ruffatti. Bach the fifth evangelist.....Holy cow!

I also got my C.D. The sound quality is remarkably good! Fox's playing of the g minor fantasy and fuge and, escpecially, the a minor fugue are fantastic. When I hear him play, I am reminded of why I began playing the organ (even though my grandfather and mother were classical pianists).

The cd is great. It is one of the best recordings of Fox I have heard. His playing reminds me why I took up the organ (even though I am around a family of classical pianists)!
