Does anyone know of any *good* organ soundfonts (preferably SF2)?
I have a few... But they sound like they came from a $50 Casio keyboard.
I just wondered if any good pipe organ soundfonts are floating around the net. I have one that is decent, its an english pipe organ, but its only one stop. Still, its better than the "Church Organ" patch I downloaded a bit ago.
In case your wondering, it sounds like someone bred a Hammond with a Farfisa, threw in some awful chorus, and turned the reverb up to "Atlantic City Convention Hall"

Hi,

As to good soundfonts, I know of a couple free ones. There are numerous ones that have a cost attatched, but I find that these have MORE than satisfied my needs.

The Jeux Pipe Organ SoundFont

Steffan's Cathedral Pipe Organ (which I believe is somewhat an extension of Jeux in ways)

At www.hammersound.net (http://www.hammersound.net) I find 41 soundfonts in the organ category. Bear in mind not ALL are pipe, but a few good ones are. The two I mentioned above can also be found there for FREE download.

The link to the organ category is, http://www.hammersound.net/cgi-bin/soundlink.pl?action=view_category&category=Organ&L istStart=0&ListLength=15

Hope this helps,

Hello all,

Last night with samples provided by the courtesy of Jim Henry (MidiTzer), I posted a nice fat WurliTzer Diaphonic Diapason with Tremmed Samples to the Universal Sound Font. I also posted a "Lite" version of the Barton Tibia Clausa with tremmed samples 18mb vs. 115mb.
