Hi I'm trying to find out what sort of organ we own. I should say, what model organ our lowrey is. I don't see a model per se. On the front face plate by the keys, I see Contempo Eighty but I think that is a feature? I'd like to find the specifications and features of this organ we 'inherited' . On the back at the left top, is a tiny sticker with 100D8 8284. I can take a photo. Thank you Cindy

Hi Cindy

Contempo 80 is in factthe model name of the organ, though it's also known as the CO-80 orD550. It dates from 1976/77. For the specs, you could always try the Yahoo Lowrey Organ group, as there's bound to be someone there with a brochure [it may already be posted in the Files or Database section of the group]. It was one of the last Lowrey organs to feature the 'original' Lowrey organ flute sounds, complete with Leslie speaker, and was the first model to incorporate their Brass and String Symphoniser voices. Nice sounding organ.
