I already own an M-2, but this is free. What could I do with it?

Put a cheap amp and speakers in there and play it.

Rig a 1/4 inch jack and play it with a guitar amp.

Have a chop at it. Then play it.

Or...keep it around for spare parts while playing it.

What can you make of it... An airplane, a broach, a pterodactyl...

If you're curious about foldback, you have an upper manual you can open up and practice on, see what a job it is. If you complete succesfully, just swap keyboards.

Or you could tear it apart and sell a couple parts from it.

Or just leave it for someone else.

1)Get an amp with percussion
2)put amp in organ
3)add 1/4" jack to amp
4)plug it in to a guitar amp
5)RAWK IT

Wait a month and get an M3 for $100. I'd love to have Craigslist's demographic files for the whole world, but here in Columbus Ohio there is a great M3 for about $100-$200 every 3 weeks. This past month there was a Model D for $100, a CV for $300, and right now there is an M111 for $100 in mint church condition, fully maintained and serviced. I was just given a Wurlitzer 4410, it's a 1956 electrostatic reed organ ( no, you do not hear reeds- used electronically) and oh' my, it's the sweetest tone you'd ever hear bone dry with vibrato off. I have a 46' series 31 Wurlitzer electrostatic reed organ if anyone is interested and near Ohio. It's the organ that is over on the left, I use it for my Avatar. No bench unfortunately, that's how it was found last year in an abandon house since 1971. Perfect for classical music.

I guess prices are different all over the country, but in Nashville that organ would go for $25 or less. An M3 in working condition goes for $100. M models and M2 models are pretty much give aways. However, and this disturbs me, I'm seeing fewer and fewer Hammonds showing up on CraigsList.

If the seller knows what the parts are worth, he won't give it away. It's the people who just want them out of the house at any cost who say "Just please take it" when you explain that you'll have to spend $100 or so to replace the amp & speaker.

Duuude...If he gets 2K for a M3, I am taking mine out to CA!

I gotta say the resale is dirt on the M3, but the sound is awesome. Not like a B or C3, a little different.

You have the tonewheel sound, percussion, vibrato, and harmonics in a semi portable unit...What is NOT to like? M3s rock!!!

Too bad the pedals sound like crap.

Haha if only it would actually sell at that price.
