I've got a line on a Leslie 251 for my A-102! It should be the perfect leslie for my organ. My organ already has the kit installed.

The problem is that it's a 10 hour drive to get it. Does anyone know what shipping would cost? Should it be crated? What else needs to be done to prepare it for the trip?

Should I just go down and get it? The wife might enjoy a roadtrip!

Thanks!

Dave

I bought my 251 off of Ebay and had it shipped from Colorado. I believe it cost around $200 via freight to ship to Michigan. They packaged it really well with rigid styrofoam surrounding the entire cabinet and layers of thick cardboard surrounding the styrofoam. Came on a pallet.

Go pick it up. The seller may not want to go to the trouble of shipping. Treat your wife to a nice trip. She'll like it too then and maybe let you buy some more!

Roadtrip, hotel and dinner - It's not a question!

But what will his wife do when he's taking the 251 to dinner?
