My band, McLemore Avenue from Austin, Texas has updated it's website. It includes mp3 samples from our very first album named "926 East" which will be released in a few days.
It contains 11 original instrumentals featuring the Hammond B-3 (and M-3).
Check out: www.mclemoreavenue.com and let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Patrick

Hey, I'm from Austin, too. I keep seeing your cd and posters at Jupiter, I promise I'm going to see your show soon. Looks like you play w/an M3-do you have it modified, if so, how? Do you know Mike Flanagan, Red Young or Ian MacLagan? Mac is playing at the Saxon later this month.

Yeah, I usually play the M-3, but every now and the I drag out the B.
I had the M chopped in half by a friend of mine who works on antique furniture, then the gurus at Doug Clark Organ Service did the rewiring. They made it so I could connect the top and bottom pieces together, while keeping all of the stock parts where they are: pre amp, swell pedal, and all of that. I have an organ-mate reverb unit, Leslie adapter kit, and a 1/4" out put on the bottom half also (but the reverb broke, and I normally use the 1/4" jack-->Trek II pedal preamp-->Leslie)
I know Mike somewhat from playing around town, sometimes playing before or after him at the Continental Club over the years, I haven't met Red Young, but McLemore Ave. opened for his band at Threadgill's awhile back, and Ian McLagan got me started on all of this Hammond craziness back when I was about 14, and showed me how to play Green Onions on his M. What day is Mac playing at the Saxon?
We're going to be on the FOX 7 morning music deal they have on Wed. Jan. 28th, at around 7 am or so, and we're in the midst of confirming a date at the Continental Club and Antone's in Feb. I'll let you know when we have more definite show dates.
