Someone just gave me a Thomas Transistor Organ, five keys don't play, no sound. I want to learn to play. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Yes, get rid of it, and if you really want to play, buy something used that works even if it is a few dollars. dec

I have to agree with Dec. If it says 'Thomas Transistor Organ' on it, then it's OOOOOLD! Lose it.
Buy something from the late 70's to the '90's and you'll be better off. Also, you can check it out before you part with any cash. If it isn't any good, don't waste your money.
Once you've got it, find a local teacher who'll get you started. A few lessons will be well worth the money (and yes, you guessed, I'm a teacher).
