One missing note!

I have a T402. I have one missing pitch on one note on the upper manual. The 4' on the 2nd Eb above middle C isn't sounding. The 2' plays OK an octave lower and the 8' plays OK an octave higher. The same 4' Eb plays OK on the lower. Before I jump inside and look, can anyone come up with possible causes for the problem and solutions?

I would think it's a bit of dirt in the keyswitch. Your troubleshooting has eliminated anything past that already. I would recommend sliding the busbar shifter to expose a fresh contact.
