Hello to everyone in the forum again. I have been away for some time, working on my senior recital and practicing for a lot of services coming up.

Anyone familiar with the Mass Settings of Richard Proulx? I only recently have discovered them, as they were being performed at a church around here that I had never really gone to. In any case I am madly in love with his mass settings and would like to know if anyone has MP3s I could download of his masses (since his CDs are like 40 dollars a piece). I am looking for a particular mass (I don't know the name of it) so I am just looking to listen to all and possibly buy the sheet music once I know which one it is, to play it at my church.

This topic can be also to discuss this composer's music.

Proulx's liturgical music is published mostly by GIA Publications in Chicago. He wrote several Mass settings; the best known being The Community Mass from 1970. Another popular setting was the Mass for the City.

Here is a link to GIA's website and two CD's of Proulx's music, both at $16.95.
