I have been for quite some time (as in, much before the movie came out) looking for an organ version fo the Phantom of the Opera music. I didn't think it would be that hard, considering that is the instrument that it was originally written for, but I guess I was wrong. I have found many piano versions, and own one, but would now like to get to playing the real stuff. Do any of you know where I can obtain this music?

If you're looking for a recording, you need to check out Dave Wickerham's recording on the Dickison Kimball titled Dave @ Dickison. He does about a 15 minute medley that's absolutely fantastic.

I now have the Music. It is published by:
Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation. 7777 West Bluemound Road, PO Box 13819 Milwaukee, WI 53213
Publication No: HL00290300 (USA/Canada) or HL00290303 (International)
Price US$14.95
Contents: Think of Me, Angel of Music, The Phantom of the Opera (of course!), Music of the Night, Prima Donna, All I ask of you, Masquerade, Wishing you were here again and Point of no return.
The Music is mostly written in keys off: F/DMin, G, C, D and the most complicated is A.
It doesn't look overly complex or challenging for an experienced player, but still sounds full and similar to the original soundtrack, at least what bit I've tried so far.
Good luck...Chris

Could be because it was published in 1991. I ordered it through a music dealer. They had no trouble getting it. Maybe try phoning H.L. in Milwaukee.
Did you try Amazon?

eventually i've been able to find it by googling for the product code. seems to be out of stock at most online stores.
that's where it can be ordered - but they surcharge almost 70% for int'l shipping :-(

Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing... this piece was written for organ, it should be available! alas, no, I have not yet found a copy. I can make do with the piano score with my botched up added pedaling, but the original organ score would be considerably better. Thanks for posting this, I'll check back to see if anyones replies with zeh info =)
