I recently removed an old Orbit III synth from an old wurlitzer 3747 and am trying to gather info for it. The organ was in pretty bad shape and i figured that it was about time that it passed on to the great organ cloud in the sky. So i dismantled the thing, and find that the synth is a separate piece from the organ and removed it with ease. So its just sitting on a porta-piano stand that i had lying around right now. I decide to plug it in (i need to wire a switch) and it comes on. and after a few moments of studying it i found the line out wires and i hook it up to a nearby amp. This thing seemed to have a very low output even with the volume all the way up. It seemed to be wired into the expression pedal so i took it out of the organ and hooked it up to the naked keyboard over on the stand. Although quiet, it sounded pretty good as is (i can get a good vox continental sound using the sine wave tabs), and i plan to add it to my collection of vintage "stuff".
Too bad it isnt polyphonic and i can only press one note at a time.....
P.S. i also took out the organ amp, there is no model number for it but it works great, incredible wattage for a small organ: ive calculated over 45!!!
