View Full Version : Ball Park sound
If I wanted to get that ball park organ sound, what drawbar settings would one want to use? I've found anything works well with the switch set to V2, but I'm curious to know the opitmal sound.
Thanks and Merry Christmas

I find that you get a good Ballpark like sound when you route the reverb through the Leslie speaker on fast.
I guess to really get authentic, youd need an X-66.....

Are you looking for sound or setting? Voice sound?

Well...It depends alot on the arena's sound system what you'd use to replicate the sound. At the hockey arena my teacher used to play at, on the Elegante, he had to use practically all drawbars out, plus the 8' string. I noticed in a clip that Eddie Layton used 808846336, from what I could tell, at Yankee Stadium on his Collenade. John Kiley used to pretty much pull all of his drawbars out on his X-66 at Fenway Park, plus he used the Glock. Remember, not all ballparks use a Hammond nowadays. Check www.ballparkorganists.com to see the organs used.
