    TV Special on Pipe Organ Building

    Discovery channel has filmed a segment with the Schantz organ company on what goes into building a pipe organ on their series "Some Assembly Required". It is due to air on Thursday Sept. 4 at 8:00pm ET and again on the 5th at midnight.

    Hi pipecutter,

    Thanks for passing this info. I just wish I could see it. Thinking I could tape it since my choir is returning to practices tonight, I checked online only to find out that of course, this particular show is not available where I live. I wonder if I can go to a Discovery Store and buy it on DVD. Or do you know if one can see the show on their website after the fact? I saw the slideshow about it, the pictures were cool.
